ALV NYC is a small-batch bakery creating vegan, sugar-free cookies packaged in compostable materials. Simple, mindful, and a little nostalgic.
Our Story
This began with a simple belief: sugar-free and plant-based does not mean compromising on taste and joy. The cookies are inspired by familiar favorites — the kind that spark memories — yet reimagined to be entirely vegan and sugar-free. The goal is simple: keep the character and comfort of the originals while making them a little healthier and a little more inclusive.
Each recipe is the result of careful testing, from the balance of sweetness to the texture of every bite. We bake to order, at our own pace. Every ingredient and material is chosen with care — for flavors that don’t follow trends, and a footprint that stays small.
Behind all of it is a dream: a quiet café, a space where the same values that go into every cookie shape everything around you.

How We Bake and Ship
Orders open every Friday through Sunday. Everything is baked and shipped the following week, so each box arrives as fresh as possible. Holidays and occasional travel may affect this schedule — updates are shared on our website and Instagram.
Mix and match flavors, 4 cookies per order minimum.
A Note on Sweeteners
Our cookies are sweetened with a blend of plant-derived and nature-equivalent sweeteners — and considered sugar-free under FDA guidelines, meaning they contain less than 0.5 grams of sugar per serving. Some varieties include small amounts of naturally sweet ingredients, like raisins or cocoa solids, but total sugar remains below that limit (per FDA definition: 21 CFR §101.60(c)(1)).

Our entire packaging system is paper-based — simple, recyclable, and compostable. Every piece is designed to safely return to the earth — no plastic, no coatings, no waste. Learn more about our packaging.
